WBPSC West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service Exam 2019 Eligibility

Age Criteria

• Applicant’s maximum age limit should not be more than 36 years as on 1st January 2019 (i.e, not born earlier than January 2nd, 1983)

Age relaxation is as follows:

• 03 years for OBC candidates
• 05 years for SC/ST candidates

Educational Qualification

• Contenders have to possess a bachelor’s degree in commerce from a recognized university or
• They should be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost Accountants of India or
• They should have completed MBA/PGDM (Finance) or equivalent post-graduation degree in Finance under two years full-time regular course approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

Selection Process

• West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service Recruitment 2019 Examination will be held in two successive stages.
• Preliminary Examination (Objective multiple-choice questions)
• Main Examination (Conventional type)
• Interview/ Personality test
• The Preliminary Examination will be held at various centers in Kolkata and Darjeeling in the month of February 2020. The WBPSC Audit and Accounts Service Main Examination will be held only in Kolkata.

Selected candidates for WBPSC Jobs will receive a good pay scale as follows:

• (PB – 4A) Rs. 15,600 – 42, 000/- + Grade pay of Rs. 5, 400/-
