UPSC Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2019 Exam Scheme

The UPSC is going to organise the written test.

  • It comprises of two papers
  • The Paper I is conducted on the topics of General ability and Intelligence and Professional Skill
  • Total 150 questions will be presented in the exam
  • Total marks allotted for the Paper I exam is 300
  • 2 and Half hours duration will be assigned for the Paper I exam
  • The exam will be in Objective Type with Multiple Choice Questions
  • The paper I exam will be done on the English and Hindi Languages
  • There are 2 parts in the exam
  • Each part carries 150 marks with 75 questions
  • Total 100 marks for the Paper-II exam
  • Paper-II deals with the Essay, Precis Writing and Comprehension 
  • Paper-II exam duration will be 2 hours
