Unemployment is always been an issue and number of job seeking in India has always been high . As per Centre of Monitoring Indian Economics nearly 31 million are unemployed or looking for a job. Mostly the Populations seems to be one of the issue for unemployment ,but in Andhra Pradesh Govt. jobs being available are not been given to the people of the state. After separation of the two states Telangana & Andhra Pradesh, AP Govt. has shown immensely poor results in terms of giving employment to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
Reports from Electricity Department states that Department of AP Transport has all in total of about 1890 vacancies where only 1067 has been filled while the rest which is 823 still needs to be filled ,AP Genco has about 2251 seats in its department where 1846 seats have been filled and 405 seats are still in process to be filled. AP SPDCL reported to fill 330 seats as only 860 is filled out of 1240. AP EPDCL Department has 1139 positions for the people of Andhra Pradesh but only 860 seats have been filled remaining 279 is still left .Ratios of employment is 4:3 .Coming to overall vacancies 1837 seats need to filled out of 6850 seats but the government is likely to do nothing about it and is busy in contesting election and meeting member of other parties for mahagathbandhan in order to come in power for 2019 election.
People from Andhra Pradesh being employed in Telangana are not getting paid for months for the work they are doing. No Action nor any step has been taken from the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Rather than giving employment Chandrababu Naidu-led Andhra Pradesh government has decided to give an allowance of Rs 1,000 per month to the all the unemployed youth in the state under the “Mukhyamantri Yuva Nestam” scheme which will surely not reduce the burden of a poor or a middle class family.
