Latest News on 09.01.2021: The Telangana Education Department officials are making arrangements to conduct the TS Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). Information is that the TS TET Notification 2021 is likely to be released within 10 days. The preparations are underway to organize the Online Application Process this time. After the release of the notification, the officials conduct the test after 8 weeks in order to give time for the aspirants to prepare.

It is a known fact that the Telangana government has decided to replace jobs massively in the state. About 50,000 jobs are being prepared for replacement. As TET is mandatory for teacher recruitment, the government is arranging to conduct this qualifying examination. The notification will be issued in another ten days.

With the release of notification, the Department of School Education, Telangana officials are going to conduct TS TET Exam 2021 to appoint candidates as a teacher (a primary school teacher and secondary school teacher) for Classes I to VIII.

Telangana Teachers Eligibility Test 2021 Requirements

Aspirants who possess the below qualifications are eligible to apply for Telangana TET Notification 2021.

Qualifications for Primary Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

• Contenders who want to be a Primary Teacher should meet either of the below criteria to apply for TS TET 2021 Notification.
• Candidates should have passed the Class XII or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks and at least 45% aggregate marks for SC/ OBC/ ST/PHD aspirants)
• Candidates should have passed a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed)/ 2-year diploma in elementary education/ 2-year diploma in education (special education) or
• Candidates should have passed Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45% aggregate marks and at least 40% aggregate marks for SC/ OBC/ ST/ PHD aspirants)
• Candidates should have passed a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed)/ 2-year diploma in elementary education/ 2-year diploma in education (special education)

It may be noted that this eligibility criterion is valid only for aspirants who have passed D.El.Ed/ D.Ed prior to the issue of TSTET 2021 notification.

Qualifications for Elementary School Teacher (Classes VI-VIII): Elementary Stage

Candidates who want to be an Elementary Teacher should meet either of the following criteria to apply for Telangana State TET Notification 2021

• Aspirants should have passed B.Com/ B.A/ B.Sc with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and a minimum of 45% aggregate marks for ST/ SC/ OBC/ PHD aspirants)
• Aspirants should have passed Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed) course or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed Special Education) (or)
• Aspirants should have passed B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (a minimum of 40% aggregate marks for ST/ SC/ OBC/ PHD aspirants) 
• Aspirants should have passed Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed) course or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed Special Education). It may be noted that this eligibility criterion is valid only for aspirants who have completed or were admitted to B.Ed course before the issue of TS TET Notification 2021 (or)
• Aspirants should have passed a 4-year B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed course with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and a minimum of 45% aggregate marks for ST/ SC/ OBC/ PHD aspirants) (or)
• Aspirants should have passed Graduation with Language concerned as one of the optional subjects/ Graduation in Literature/ Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent)/ Post Graduation with Language related to one of the optional subjects
• Aspirants must also have a training certificate of Language Pandit or passed B.Ed with Language related to (Applicable for only language teachers) one of the methodologies 
• Aspirants attending the final year of B.Ed Exams/ Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)

Age Limit

Aspirants who are willing to apply for the Telangana TET Exam 2021 should meet the age criteria. The category wise age limit is as follows.

• For General Category Aspirants: Minimum Age – 18 years and Maximum Age – 35 years
• For Reserved Category Aspirants: Relaxation in Upper Age limit will apply according to terms and conditions

TSTET Selection Process

• You will redirect to Step 2: Fill the TS TET Application Form 2021
