Tripura Teachers Recruitment

Introduction

From the ancient times, teaching is regarded as one of the sacred and most important professions. Even the smallest motivation or inspiration can imprint in children’s mind. In this modern era quality education has been given prime importance by the majority of the citizens. So, the aspiring candidates for teachers should have high motivation spirits.

Recruitment Board of Tripura conducts Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) exam every year. This exam is intended to fill the vacant posts in the teaching sector of the State. Through this examination, the board recruits graduates and diploma holders as teachers for Primary (Class 1st-5th) and Upper Primary (Class 6th-8th) government run schools in the State. This Exam is Compulsory and the aspiring candidates to get Teacher jobs in the government schools. Other popular TET exams in the country are Arunachal Pradesh TET,
HP Teacher Eligibility Test, Assam TET,  Manipur TETWB Teachers Recruitment, Jharkhand TET, etc.

Positions

1 To become teachers for classes I-V in primary schools of Tripura. Can must have qualified senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and should hold a 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or Diploma in Education or one year Diploma in Education obtained before 2005
2 To become teachers for classes VI-VIII Graduation and a two year Diploma in Elementary Education/ one year Education Diploma obtained before 2005

OR

Graduation with at a minimum of 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR

Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B. Ed.), from a NCTE recognised institute

OR

Senior Secondary or its equivalent degree with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor in Elementary Education

3 Graduate Teacher (For Class: Ix-X Graduate/Post Graduate from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in graduation or post-graduation and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) from a National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution. OR

B. Graduate/Post Graduate from a recognised university with a minimum of 45% marks in graduation/post-graduation (or its equivalent) and a Bachelor degree in Education (B. Ed.) from NCTE recognised institution OR

C. Four a years degree of B. A./B.Sc. in Education from any NCTE recognised institution.

4 Post Graduate Teacher (For Class: XI-XII) Candidates must have qualified Post Graduate Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subject from a recognised university with a Bachelor degree in Education (B. Ed.) from any NCTE recognised institution.

OR

Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed degree obtained as per the NCTE Regulations of 2002 or 2007) from any NCTE recognized Institutions.

Relaxation

Five percent in minimum eligibility marks will be relaxed for SC and SC candidates. Full details regarding the age relaxations will be released in the notification.

Application Procedure

Before applying online, candidates should make sure that they have a valid e-mail id, a mobile number and a scanned copy of their photograph, signature & supporting documents. Candidates also need to ensure their eligibility regarding their age and education qualification.

  1. Candidates should first visit the official website
  2. Click on “Apply online” and fill all the mandatory details.
  3. Try to submit error free details in the application form.
  4. Then an application number along with password will be generated
  5. Candidates need to click on candidates login button and login with the generated application number and password and should apply for the vacant post

Selection Process

Candidates need to clear the written test and based on the score, the candidates will be selected for vacant posts. So aspiring candidates should try to get maximum marks. However, before selection, all the certificates of the candidates are verified thoroughly.

Examination Pattern

The written exam will be consisting of two papers; first paper will be for the candidates who aspire to become teachers for classes I-V.

The second paper is for the candidates who aspire to teach students of classes VI-VIII and along with this, the candidate needs to select an optional i.e., either mathematics or science. However, a candidate can attempt both the papers to increase the chance of getting through the exam.
