Tripura Police maintains law and order in the state and protects the rights of the people ensuring a secure society for the citizens to live in. Tripura Police is regarded as one of the best police in the Indian Nation, in the perspective of its modest approach towards the common man. Tripura Police are known for their bravery and has shown a lot of perseverance towards fighting the insurgency in the state of Tripura. The Tripura Police headquarters is located in the capital city of state i.e., Agartala. How to Apply
- Candidates should get the application form from the local sources.
- Then the candidates need to fill the form and should post it to the prescribed address in an envelope along with the requisite documents.
The selection process consists of Five steps and the first two steps are qualifying in nature. The steps are listed below
- (a) Physical Measurement
- (b) Physical Efficiency (PET)
- (c) Written Examination/Practical test
- (d) Interview/Viva-voce
- (e) Medical examination
First, the candidate should have the required criteria of height and weight. Once the candidates clear the physical efficiency test they will be eligible to attend written examination for constable and practical test for drivers. The interview will be the last step in the selection process. Candidates are selected based on the performance in the written exam and interview.
