TNPSC Combined Civil Services Examination Group 4 selection procedure consists of two rounds.
A few days back a recruitment notification was issued by the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission. The advertisement was released for 649 vacant posts. They are Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Junior Assistant (Non – Security), Junior Assistant (Security), Bill Collector, Grade-I, Field Surveyor, Draftsman, Typist, Steno-Typist. The aspirants who are seeking for the govt jobs have applied for these posts before the end date. For which, the exam is conducted on the various centres on the scheduled time.
The officials release the TNPSC Group 4 VAO Cut off before announcing the results. The qualifying marks are nothing but the least number of marks that contenders must score in the examination. The TNPSC releases the TNPSC Junior Assistant Merit List after the result declaration. Contenders can know whether they are shortlisted or not with the help of the qualified list. Generally, the Tamil Nadu Group IV selection list 2019 contains the names and hall ticket numbers of the shortlisted candidates.
On the basis of the marks obtained in the Group IV written exam, the list of eligible candidates will be uploaded on the TNPSC official portal for uploading the certificates for document verification. After the verification of certificates, eligible contenders are called for counselling procedure to allot the post and unit/ department in the order of category and rank for which they are eligible as per the vacancy position.
Applicants will be invited for document verification procedure in the 1:3 ratio. I1:3 ratio means that three candidates are invited for every one vacancy available for each position and category. During the TNPSC certificate verification, candidates have to carry the following original documents/ certificates. The list of selected candidates for the further rounds will be declared after removing rejected /ineligible and absent candidates.

For Village Administrative officer VAO posts: Candidates selected or appointed for VAO posts have to deposit an amount of Rs. 2000/- as cash security within one month from the joining date (Rs. 1000/- for the candidates belonging to MBC/DC and BC/BC (Muslim)). However, candidates belonging to SC/ ST are exempted from the deposition of cash.
For the posts of Bill Collector Grade-I and Junior Assistant (Security): During the time of appointment for the above posts, candidates have to deposit the security amount as decided by the authority.
