Selection Procedure

The selection procedure for Tamil Nadu Police will be having three stages. The selection procedure is given below.

Written Examination

The most important stage as it ensures high success rate to candidates, if they secure maximum marks in this part of selection procedure. It applies for both Sub-Inspector and Constable positions. The candidates qualified in the written exam will be forwarded to the next level of examination.

Physical Examination

The candidates should qualify in the physical events such as running, climbing, high-jump, long jump within the stipulated time. The physical examination carries 15 marks. Candidate should visit Drona website regularly for updated information as events could change regularly.

Personal interview

This phase of examination will test candidate’s personality.
