SSC Jr Hindi Translator Recruitment 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be the citizens of India.

Age Limit

  • The age limit of the applicants should not exceed 30 years as on 01.01.2020.

Upper age relaxation is applicable to the reserved candidates as per the norms of the organization.

  • OBC: 03 years.
  • SC/ST: 05 years
  • PWD: 10 years
  • OBC + PWD: 13 years

Educational Qualification

The SSC JHT educational qualifications is as follows.

    • Masters degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; (OR)
    • Masters degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; (OR)
    • Masters degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level; (OR)
    • Masters degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; (OR)
    • Masters Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level

The process of filling SSC JHT online application consists of two parts:

  1. Part-I: One-time Registration.
  2. Part-II: Filling the online Application for the Examination.

Before proceeding with One-time Registration, keep the following information/ documents ready with you.

  • Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP).
  • Email ID (to be verified through OTP).
  • Aadhaar Number. If Aadhaar Number is not available, please give one of the following ID Numbers.
    • Voter ID Card
    • PAN
    • Passport
    • Driving License
    • School/ College ID
    • Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private)
  • Information about the Board name, Roll Number and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Examination.
  • Scanned color passport size recent photograph in JPEG format.
  • Scanned signature in JPEG format.

SSC One Time Registration

  1. First of all, visit the official portal i.e, https://ssc.nic.in
  2. For One-time Registration, click on “Register Now” link provided in Login Section.
  3. The one-time Registration process requires filling up the following information:
    • Basic Details
    • Additional Details and Contact Details
    • Uploading of the scanned images of passport size photograph and signature.
  4. After filling the details, save the information provided.
  5. Take the draft printout and review the information provided thoroughly, before Final Submit button.
  6. Upon clicking the Final Submit button, different OTPs will be sent on your mobile number and Email ID.
  7. You need to enter one of the two OTPs at the designated field to complete the Registration Process.
  8. Read the Declaration carefully and if you agree with the declaration, click “I Agree”.
  9. After completion of the registration process, Basic Details can be changed only twice

Steps to fill SSC JHT Online Application Form

  1. Visit the official portal i.e, www.ssc.nic.in
  2. Find the Latest News tab.
  3. Click the “Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination 2019‟ section under “Latest Notifications” tab.
  4. Read the full details provided in the official SSC Junior Hindi Translator Notification Pdf.
  5. If eligible, then log in to the online system through your Registration Number and password.
  6. Enter the required details in the application form.
  7. Complete your declaration by clicking on “I agree” checkbox, fill up Captcha code.
  8. Preview and verify the information provided by you and submit the Application.
  9. Proceed to make fee payment if you are not exempted from payment of the fee.
  10. When the application is successfully submitted, it will be accepted ‘Provisionally’.
  11. At last, take the printout of the application form for future records.

Application Fee

  • General/ OBC candidates: Rs. 100/-
  • Women candidates/ SC/ST/Ex-serviceman: Nil.

The fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
