RBI Assistant Preliminary Exam Pattern 2020

  • Questions are objective type (multiple choice based)
  • The RBI Prelims Prelims exam paper comprises the questions asked from subjects or topics like the English language, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability
  • In the English language, 30 questions will be there for 30 marks
  • In other sections, 35 questions will be there for 35 marks
  • The exam duration is 1 hour (60 minutes)

RBI Asst Mains Exam Pattern 2020

  • Questions are objective type (multiple choice)
  • The questions are asked from subjects like the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Computer Knowledge, and General Awareness
  • Each section comprises 40 questions for 40 marks
  • The exam duration is 135 minutes
  • All the above tests except the Test of English Language will be in bilingual i.e. English and Hindi
  • There will be sectional timing of each subject. So, candidates need to qualify each section individually. 1/4th of the allotted mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

A. The RBI Assistant exam is not very difficult. You need to take more mock tests and practice previous papers to score better.

Q. Is there any negative marks in RBI Assistant exam?

A. There is negative marking for wrong answers in the Preliminary and Main examination. 1/4th mark (0.25 mark) of the allotted marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. For the unattempted or questions left blank, there is no deduction of marks
