Punjab Head Master/Head Mistresses Eligibility Conditions

To fill the PPSC Principal Application Form, aspirants have to ensure the following eligibility criteria:

Age Limit

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 37 Years

The relaxation in the maximum age limit is up to 42 years for the scheduled castes and backward classes and 47 years for Physically handicapped candidates of Punjab.

Educational Qualification

For Block Primary Education Officer:

• Contenders should have passed Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized institution/university.
• You must have completed two years of Elementary Teacher’s Training Course from a recognized university or two yer D.EI.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) according to the National Council for Teacher’s Education or Bachelor's Degree in Education from a govt recognized university.
• Aspirants who are having working experience of 3 years in any govt school under the control of Director as Primary School Teacher can apply for the posts.

For Principal:

• Candidates must have finished a Master’s Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, or Engineering in any stream from a recognized university or institution with at least 50% marks for general candidates, 45% marks for reserved category contenders.
• Aspirants should have completed a Degree of Bachelor Education and Punjabi of Matric or equivalent from a recognized university.
• One who is having teaching experience for a minimum of years period on the post of Teach can submit the filled applications.

For Head Master/Head Mistresses:

• To apply for PPSC Head Master Posts, contenders should have passed the Degree of bachelor Education along with Graduation with 55% marks from a recognized university.
• Intenders must have 3 years of teaching experience in any Govt School under the control of the Director.
