National Talent Search Examination 2019

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has conducted the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) every year to identify capable students who want to continue higher education in Science and Social Studies streams. It is a beautiful opportunity for students who wish to pursue higher education. The examination is conducted at 2 levels.

  • Stage – 1: State Level Talent Search Examination and 
  • Stage – 2: NTSE (National Level Talent Search Examination). 

The State Level Talent Search Examination is conducted by 29 States or 7 UTs for all students studying in Class 10th. The students who are qualifying in State Level Talent Search Examination are eligible to attend for stage II NTSE to be conducted by NCERT. The NTSE scheme aims to award skilled students pursuing education with scholarships to help continue their education.

NCERT NTSE Exam 2019 Merit List

Only candidates qualifying in both the Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) papers separately will be considered for merit. The awardees’ selection will be done based on the total marks obtained in MAT and SAT-based on merit. The students who are qualifying in the Stage I exam should prepare for the Stage II Exam.
