The Manipur Police is considered to be the Law enforcement Agency for the entire state of Manipur. Candidates will get call letter for the written examination before the examination date. The selection procedure involves the following four stages:
- Written Examination
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Document Verification
- Final Merit list
In written exam, there are three papers conducted. Each paper consists of 200 marks and each is for 3 hours duration. Below are the topics from which the questions will be asked.

Physical Fitness Test
There are five physical tests conducted which include 800 meters running race (170 secs), 100 meters running race (15 secs), shot put throw (7.26 Kgs in 5.60 metres), High Jump and long jump (1.20 meters). These tests are conducted to check the physical fitness of the candidates. After qualifying the above tests, the candidates are required to proceed for document verification.
