Jharkhand TET 2019

Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) is a state level entrance test conducts to provide opportunity to skilled and efficient candidates in primary as well as secondary schools across the state of Jharkhand. Before going to apply for JTET 2019 exam,

The details of eligibility including educational qualification and age limit are as follows. It is mandatory to candidates those who are interested to participate in the Jharkhand TET Exam 2019.

Educational Qualification

  • Primary Teacher
    • 10+2 with at least 50% marks in two-year Elementary education / Special education / four years Bachelors in Elementary education.
  • Upper Primary Teacher
    • Bachelors with 50% marks in two year diploma in Elementary education/ B.ed / One year Special education

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age Limit – 18 years

Jharkhand TET 2019 Exam Important Dates

Jharkhand TET official notification 2019 will be released in the second half of the year. Here we just update the tentative dates of JTET 2019.

  • Last Date to send Online Applications – October/November 2019

Application Process for Jharkhand TET 2019 Exam

Jharkhand Academic Council Ranchi, invites applications from candidates who are interesting in Teaching Jobs. JTET application form starting & closing date will be announced soon. Here are the steps you need to follow before going to submit the application form to officials.

  • Visit the official website of Jharkhand Education Board.
  • Click on application form.
  • Fill appropriate details such as personal and professional.
  • Upload the required photograph and signature.
  • Submit application after signing the declaration.
  • Print the application for future use.

Exam Pattern of JTET 2019

Jharkhand TET Question Paper consists of two papers like Paper I & Paper II.

  • Paper I – Primary School Teachers (Class I to Class V)
    • Duration of paper I is 90 Minutes
    • Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 Marks
    • Language I(Hindi/English ) Urdu/English for Urdu Teacher) – 30 Marks
    • Language II ( Regional Language) – 30 Marks
    • Mathematics – 30 Marks
    • Environmental Studies – 30 Marks
    • 150 are the Total no of questions asked.
    • Maximum Marks for JTET Paper I Exam is 150 Marks
  • Paper II – Upper Primary School Teachers (Class VI to Class X)
    • Duration of paper II is 90 minutes
    • Child Development and Pedagogy (compulsory) – 30 Marks
    • Language I (compulsory) (Hindi/English Urdu/English) – 30 Marks
    • Language II (compulsory) Regional Language – 30 Marks
    • For Mathematics and Science teacher – 60 Marks
    • For Social Science teacher – 60 Marks
    • 210 are the Total no of questions asked.
    • Maximum Marks for JTET Paper II Exam is 210 Marks.
