Age Limit

Educational Qualification

  • Junior Scale Stenographers:
    • 10th or Graduate from a recognized university
    • Hindi shorthand at 80 wpm and transcription thereof at 15 wpm on a computer with commonly used word processing software
    • English shorthand at 100 wpm and transcription thereof at 20 wpm on a computer with commonly used word processing software
    • 5 years of experience as a Junior Scale Stenographers
    • Knowledge of Hindi up to Matric standard
    • Should have passed the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Training
  • Stenotypists: 
    • 10+2 passed
    • Knowledge of Hindi up to Matric standard
    • Hindi shorthand at 64 words per minute and transcription thereof at 11 words per minute
    • English shorthand at 80 words per minute and transcription thereof at 15 words per minute
    • 5 years of experience as a Stenotypist
    • Should have passed the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Training
  • Clerks: 
    • 10+2 passed
    • Knowledge of Hindi up to Matric standard
    • Should have passed the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Training
    • 5 years of experience as a Clerk
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI):
    • Xth standard pass
    • A diploma in Automobile Engineering (3 years duration) or diploma in Mechanical Engineering awarded by SBTE
    • Must hold a driving license
    • Working experience of at least one year in a reputed automobile
