TSPSC Group-1 Recruitment 2018 Notification for Deputy Collector, Registrar, MPDO & Commercial Tax Officers

On the day of 5th Telangana Formation Day Celebrations the Govt. of Telangana is going to announce the most awaited notification which aims to fill the vast number of vacancies. This fresh circular will be announced by the Chief Minister KCR. The notification includes Group-1, Group-2 and Group-4 posts.

TS Group 1 Age Relaxation

  • Five years of age relaxation is given for BC, SC and ST candidates.
  • For Physically Challenged candidates ten years of age relaxation is given.
  • Three years of age relaxation for Ex-Service men and the N.C.C instructors who served the organisation for at least three years.
  • Employees serving the State Government will also be given age relaxation of five years.

TSPSC Group 1 Application Procedure

  1. Log on to the official website tspsc.gov.in.
  2. Click on ‘One Time Profile Registration (OTPR)’ button on the displayed page and choose ‘Direct Recruitment’ or ‘Departmental Test’.
  3. Click on New Registration and an online application form will be displayed
  4. Enter your Aadhar card number and all the other details
  5. Upload your passport photograph and signature.
  6. Select on the type of notification and click submit.
  7. An ID and Password will be generated immediately.
  8. Candidates are advised to save the ID and Password for future references.

Step 3 (Interview)

The interview is the last phase of the exam. It is entirely a personality test to gauge candidate’s emotional intelligence, approach and the capability to deal with critical situations skillfully.

TSPSC Group 1 Exam Pattern

Prelims

The question paper contains 150 questions, candidates must answer all the questions in 2 ½ hours. Most of the questions will be on.

Mains – Written Examination

This stage of examination has one English paper which is of qualifying in nature. The remaining six papers of the mains exam will be having 150 march each and three hours of times is allotted for each paper.

Paper –III – Indian Society, Constitution and Governance

  1. Indian Society, Structure, Issues and Social Movements
  2. Constitution of India
  3. Governance

Paper –IV – Economy and Development

  1. Indian Economy and Development
  2. Telangana Economy
  3. Development and Environmental Problems

Paper- V – Science & Technology and Data Interpretation

  1. The role and impact of Science and Technology
  2. Modern Trends in application of knowledge of Science
  3. Data Interpretation and Problem Solving

Paper-VI – Telangana Movement and State Formation

  1. The idea of Telangana (1948-1970)
  2. Mobilizational phase  (1971 -1990)
  3. Towards formation of Telangana State (1991-2014)

Each of these papers consists of 150 marks with a time duration of 3 hours.

Interview

Candidates who secured highest marks in both the exams will be invited to attend the interview, it carries 100 marks.

With this stage of examination, candidates are assessed for total test papers + interview =1000 marks.

 Based on the performance in all the three stages of examination, the Telangana Public Service Commission releases the list of successful candidates.
