Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Age limit of the candidates must be in a middle of 18 to 35 years. Upper age limit will be applicable by 03 years for OBC candidates and 05 years for SC/ST candidates.

Education Qualifications

Candidates required to completed BE/ME/M. Sc/Graduation/Degree in a relevant field from any recognized university.

Karnataka State Pollution Control Board Selection Process

The mode of selection will be based on the Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT).


Selected candidates will get monthly pay based on the position wise which has given below

  • Manager (IT): Rs. 56,550/- Rs.79,800/-
  • Assistant Environment Officer, Assistant Scientific Officer and Legal Assistant: Rs. 22,800/-Rs. 43, 200/-

KPSC JTO Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Candidates age limit should be middle of 18 to 35 years. Upper age limit will be applicable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates.

Three years diploma in a relevant trade from any recognized board of technical education.


Selected candidates will get monthly pay Rs. 17,650/- Rs. 32,000/-

Educational Qualification

Minimum qualification for applicants is bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in their relevant fields from a  recognized university.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for applicants is 18 years.

The maximum age limit for applicants is 40 years.

Candidates should attend written exam of two papers. Paper 1 carrying 100 marks and paper 2 also for 100 marks, duration is 1.30 hours.

In 1921, for the first time in British India, through order No. 1827:80 E.A.G.308, the Government started a central agency for recruitment and named it as “Central Recruitment Board”. However, this Board was under Government Secretariat only till 1940, and after that Government appointed a Public Service Commissioner. The Public Service Commission was reconstituted under the provisions of the Constitution of India in accordance with the clause 14 of the Public Service Commission Regulations, 1950. The Office of the Central Recruitment Board of Mysore (Now Karnataka) Government followed the Government Secretariat Manual, for all office procedures. This model continued in the office of the Public Service Commissioner and after that in the office of the Public Service Commission to carry out recruitment, Competitive Examinations, Departmental Examinations, etc. Drona provides important information about all these exams.

As per the provisions of clause-III of the Mysore Public Service Commission regulations, one chairman, and two members were appointed. This Chairman and Members took charge on the 19th, 23rd and 25th May of 1951 respectively. The important functions of the commission are the selection of competent candidates to state government departments through direct recruitment or by transfer, etc. The commission has Statutory powers relating to services, it has the power to take Disciplinary actions against the employees and it also looks after the Reimbursement of legal expenses and extraordinary pension cases. It also deals with the appointments of temporary employees and their continuance.
