Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

Applicants must be completed Graduation from a recognized organization/ Board.

Age Limit

Applicants minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 26 years and for Cat – 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B candidates is 29 years and Category – I/ PWD is 31 years.

Karnataka PSC SI (Excise) Exam Pattern

Candidates who applied for SI job will have written examination of 200 marks for a period of 3 hours. They have to attends two papers, paper 1 & paper 2.

Paper-1 consists of Essay writing in English or Kannada-30 marks (90 minutes) & Translation of Passage from English to Kannada and Vice Varsa-20 Marks

Paper 2 consists of General Studies- 150 marks (90 minutes)

Candidates again have to attend multiple choice objective type exam for 300 marks. 150 marks questioning from General English or Kannada and 150 marks questioning from General Knowledge. Duration of exam is 2 hours each
