Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Degree from the recognized university or equivalent can apply for Deputy Jailor Post

Intermediate or any other examination recognized by the state government can apply for SI,SCT posts

Age Limit

Minimum 21 Years & Maximum 25 years of age can apply for the SCT SI ,RSI & Deputy Jailor(Female)

Minimum 21 Years & maximum 30 years Deputy Jailor  (Male)

Minimum 18 Years & maximum 30 years for Fire Officer Posts

Relaxation in Upper age limit for those candidates belonging to other categories

Salary

The salary will be ranging from Rs 28940/- to Rs 78910/- for SCT SI ,RSI  & Rs.26600 to Rs.77030/- for Deputy Jailor & Fire Officer

Selection Process

The Selection Process will be based on the basis of Written Examination Interview & PET

Minimum 40% of marks required to qualify the written Test Exam

Physical Standards

For SCT,SI ,RSI & Fire Officer

Male

  • Height: Must not be less than 167.6 centimeters.
  • Chest: Must not be less than 86.3 centimetres with a minimum expansion of 5 centimetres.

Women

  • Height: Must not be less than 152.5 centimeters.
  • Weight: Must not be less than 40 Kgs.

For Deputy Jailor

  • Height: Must not be less than 153 centimeters
  • Weight: Must not be less than 45.5 kgs
  • Height: Must not be less than 168 centimeters.
  • Chest: Must not be less than 87 centimetres with a minimum expansion of 5 centimetres.

Arithmetic: Problems relating to number system, simple interest, compound interest, ratio & proportion average percentage, time & distance, clocks & calendars, partnership, menstruation , profit & loss, time & work, work & wages etc

Test of Reasoning: Question on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualisation, analysis, spatial orientation problem solving, judgment decision making, visual memory etc

The minimum marks required to qualify in the written examination in each paper is 40% for OC 35% for BC & 30 % for SC /ST

Papers I and II referred above will include questions that are subjective and objective in nature.

Questions in Papers III and IV will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu languages.

Answer the questions on an OMR answer sheet using Blue / Black Ball Point Pen only.
