Delhi Dist Court PA SPA JJA DEO Selection Process

To select the efficient and skilled people, the Delhi district court is going to conduct the following rounds. Based on the performance of the candidates in these rounds, it will send appointment letters to them.

  • Objective Test
  • Descriptive Test
  • Skill Test
  • Interview

Exam Pattern for Delhi District Court Jobs

Along with the syllabus topics, the Delhi Dist Court exam pattern also essential to know the complete paper structure of the exam. There will be different exam structures for both objective and descriptive tests. The following sections cover the complete information about the exam pattern for Senior Personal Asst, Personal Asst, Junior Judicial Asst, and Data Entry Operator posts. Exam Pattern for Sr Personal Assistant & Personal Assistant  (Tire I)

  • Two types of exams conducted for Sr personal assistant and Personal assistant posts.
  1. Objective test
  2. Descriptive test
  • The number of questions in the test will be 75.
  • Each one carries one marks, i.e. total marks conducted for the exam are 165 marks. 
  • The total exam duration is 180 minutes for general candidates and 120 minutes for OL/BL candidates.

Objective Test

  • There are 3 Parts in the objective type exam. 
    • Part I having General English & Comprehension for 50 marks.
    • Part II having General Knowledge (Including Current Affair) for 20 marks.
    • Part II having General Intelligence for 20 marks. 
    • The exam duration is 90 minutes for general candidates and  120 minutes for OL/BL candidates.
    • The total number of questions is 90.

Descriptive Test

  • Descriptive type exam has three parts, i.e. Part IV, V & VI
    • This exam conducted in the English language
    • One essay for 30 marks.
    • Grammar for 25 marks.
    • Translation for 20 marks.
    • Exam duration is 90 minutes for general candidates and 120 minutes for OL/BL candidates.
    • The total number of questions is 75.
    • Each one carries one mark.
  • Merit List will be prepared based on the descriptive exam.

Exam Pattern for Junior Judicial Assistant & Data Entry Operator (Tire I)

  • The exam will be in objective mode (MCQ)
  • The number of questions in the test will be 120.
  • Each one carries one marks, i.e. total marks conducted for the exam are 120 marks. 
  • The total exam duration is 120 minutes for general candidates and 160 minutes for PWD candidates.
  • A negative marking of 0.25 is applicable for each wrong answer.
  • The questions will be in English language only. 
  • It is an online-based examination.

Tier-II Exam Pattern for Sr. Personal Assistant, PA, JJA & DEO

 Sr. Personal Assistant 

  • Shorthand test @ 110 w.p.m.
  • Typing test @ 40w.p.m
  • A passage of 550 words will be dictated in five minutes
  • Considerable mistakes will be 22.
  • Forty minutes duration will be given to transcribing the dictated passage on computers.

  Personal Assistant 

  • Shorthand test @ 100 w.p.m.
  • Typing test @ 40w.p.m
  • A passage of 550 words will be dictated in five minutes 
  • Considerable mistakes will be 24.
  • Forty minutes duration will be given to transcribing the dictated passage on computers.

Junior Judicial Assistant & Data Entry Operator

  •  Typing test @ 40 w.p.m.

Tier III Exam Pattern 

Junior Judicial Assistant & Data Entry Operator

  • The Descriptive Test of the English language if for 100 Marks.
  • It consists of essay (300 words = 50 Marks)
  • Grammar  for 30 Marks
  • Translation (25 words = 20 Marks). 
  • General Category candidates have to score 50% 
  • Reserved Category candidates have to score 45% 
  • Duration of the exam will be of 120 Minutes.

Personal Assistant & Sr Personal Assistant

  • Already discussed above and the selection process may be modified at any stage based on the number of applicants and other factors.

Tier-IV Exam Pattern

 Sr. Personal Assistant & Personal Assistant

  • Interview – 10 Marks 
  • The minimum pass mark will be 4 for unreserved and 3.5 for the reserved category.

Junior Judicial Assistant

  • Interview – 30 Marks 
  • The minimum pass mark will be 12 for unreserved and 10 for the PWD category.

Data Entry Operator

  • Interview – 35 Marks 
  • The minimum pass mark will be 14 for unreserved and 12 for the PWD category.
