India signs MOU with the Kyrgyz Republic and Indonesia on Sports
Indian Government has signed amemorandum of understanding with the Kyrgyz Republic and Indonesia for collaboration in the Sports and Youth exchange program. The main aim of the MOU is thedevelopment of youth. The understanding aims to conduct the Youth Exchange Programmes between the Kyrgyz Republic and encourage sports related activities.
Youth Exchange Programmes
These programmes are conducted internationally for the youth to understand the global perspective. Further encourages the exchange of ideas, culture values and promotes the peace. It aims to promote sports and development of youth in the partnered countries. The benefits of the youth participating in such events are numerous, and the opportunity to participate in the event is available to everyone irrespective of caste and religion.
This country is popularly known as the “the Switzerland of Central Asia”, and eighty percent of its land is covered with mountains. The Kyrgyz Republic is bordered by Tajikistan to the south-west and China to the east Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west. The capital city of the country is Bishkek.
