North Korea will Soon Develop Missiles that can reach Australia – US
A US general has told that Australia will soon be within the range of nuclear missiles of North Korea.
US General Vincent K. Brooks who is the commander of UN and US forces in South Korea had given Foreign Affairs Minister of Australia, Julie Bishop this sobering news when she visited the South Korea.
North Korea which is under the dictator Kim Jong-un regime had been developing its rocket technology and missiles continuously.
US intelligence says that it is a matter of time that North Korea achieves this capability and can occur within next few years.
India to Change Definition of Blindness to Meet the WHO Stipulation
As per the rules in India, a person unable who is unable to count fingers from a distance of 6 meters is categorized as “”
But as per the WHO’s stipulation, it is only 3 meters.
Hence, the Indian government has decided to change the 40 year old definition of blindness to bring it in line with the WHO standards or criteria
This will ensure that the Indian data on blindness will meet the global estimates.
UK Parliament Condemns Pakistan’s claim of Gilgit-Baltistan as its Fifth Frontier
The motion on March 23 in British Parliament was passed condemning Pakistan’s declaration of Gilgit-Baltistan as its fifth frontier
This motion was sponsored by Bob Blackman, a Conservative Party leader and stated that Pakistan is attempting to annexe the already disputed area.
It was also stated that the region is a constitutional and legal part of Jammu & Kashmir and was illegally occupied by Pakistan since 1947.
This declaration is done by Pakistan to make the way clear for CPEC project.
This CPEC is an economic corridor and a $51.5 billion project aiming to connect Kashgar, in China’s western province of Xinjiang and the port of Gwadar in Balochistan.
Bangladesh – Celebrates Independence Day on March 26th
India’s neighbouring country Bangladesh has celebrated 46th independence day on March 26th, 2017.
The President of Bangladesh, Md. Abdul Hamid has placed wreaths at the National Memorial in Savar to commemorate and pay respect to freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country.
The Prime Minister of the nation, Sheik Hasina also paid the respects to the people who fought for the sake of country.
India surpasses Japan in Domestic Passenger Traffic
India emerged as the third largest market in domestic passenger traffic. It has surpassed Japan by reaching 100 million in the year 2016.
Sydney-based think-tank, Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA) in its latest report on aviation industry’s passenger traffic.
According to the report, the United States ranked1stUS (719 million), 2nd China (436 million)and India has been ranked for 100 million for domestic passenger traffic in the year 2016.
India has shown consistent domestic air traffic with 20-25 percent in the year 2015 and 2016.
