On 1st November 2000, Chhattisgarh emerged as a new State on the Indian map. The State Police Department came into existence as a separate entity after the emergence of the State. Like all other Police departments across the globe, the department works as a law enforcement agency within the State of Chattisgarh. Its responsibilities are to maintain Law and Order across all the twenty seven districts of the State. Naxalism in the State remains one of the biggest challenges for Chattisgarh police to deal with. The department advertises posts from time to time based on the human resource requirement in all the branches of law enforcement. Application Procedure

• Press Recruitment CAF (04 I R Battalions Recruitment)
• Find Online Application Form and go through all the instructions
• Fill-in all the details carefully
• Submit the Application Form
• Get the printout of “Online Application” for future use

Selection Procedure

Physical Test

Candidates will be filtered based on the stamina that will be reflected from a long race. To check the physical fitness, there are different criteria for males and females. One is supposed to pass the test in order to qualify for the position.

Written test

This exam will be based on 10th class board exam & 12th class board exam. Hence, shortlisting will be done considering the total of 300 marks.

Verification of original documents and Medical Examination

Candidates who are able to qualify the second stage of the process i.e. the Physical Efficiency Test, there documents will be verified and besides that, they will be also taken for a medical examination.

Exam Pattern

There will be a Physical Efficiency Test comprising 150 marks. The test will include the following:

• 400 metre Run
• 1500 metre Run
• 5 Km Run

• Document Verification

The shortlisting of the candidates will be done based on the total marks secured in the Physical Efficiency Test and subsequently shall be required to attend the medical examination.

• Medical Examination

Candidates who are shortlisted and whose records are found correct shall be required to attend a medical examination conducted by the Council.

Preparation Strategy/Tips and Tricks

For any position in the Police department, it is required to stay physically fit and healthy for this job. A rigorous workout routine and diet control is needed to come up to the physical standards. A strong will power and passion towards Police related jobs will take you ahead. The basic mantra remains disciplined workout to build a strong and a healthy body.

The syllabus should also be read thoroughly but more focus should be given to maintaining the prescribed physical standards.
