Positions

S. No Posts Educational Qualification
1 Primary Level (I-V) MUST have passed Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks

And

A pass or appearing in final exams of two years Diploma in Elementary Education/A pass or appearing in final exams four years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed)/A pass or appearing in the final exam of two years Diploma in Education-Special Education.

OR

MUST be a Graduate and must possess passed or two years Diploma in Elementary Education (Candidates appearing for final exam also eligible).

2 Upper Primary Level (VI-VIII) MUST be a Graduate and must possess a two years Diploma in Elementary Education (Candidates appearing for final exam also eligible).

OR

MUST be a Graduate with at least 50% marks with one year Bachelor’s degree in Education (B. Ed).

OR

MUST be a Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and should possess a four years Bachelor degree in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed).

OR

MUST be a Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and a four years degree i.e., B.A Ed. Or B.Sc. Ed.

OR

MUST be a Graduate with at least 50% marks and must have passed one year /B. Ed.-Special Education.

Note

  • Only the National council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognised diploma/degree, course in teacher education will be considered. However, a course recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) would be considered in case of Diplomas in Education-Special Education.
  • Candidates appearing in final exams are also eligible to apply provided that they should submit pass certificate at the time of joining.

Relaxations

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Differently-abled categories will have a relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks of the minimum Educational Qualification.

Application Procedure

  • Visit http://www.deeap.in/
  • Navigate to the application button and click on it
  • Register basic details viz. mobile number with STD code and a valid email address.
  • Login details like Username and Password will be generated and candidates are required to login again with the same details.
  • Upload scanned recent passport size photograph along with a signature as per the instructions.
  • On completion, download and take a printout of the ‘Treasury Challan Form’.
  • After the payment of the application fee, a ‘Treasury Challan Transaction Number’ will be given
  • Update the Challan number in the application form.
  • Click on the “SUBMIT” button and a final copy of the application form will appear. Candidates can take a printout of this form for future use.

Selection Procedure

AP TET Exam consists of two Papers viz. Paper-I & Paper-II. Both papers contain 150 Objective type questions carrying 1 mark each.

APTET Paper-I

Candidates need to qualify this paper in order to get eligibility for the teaching positions from Class I to V in AP Primary Schools.

APTET Paper-II

Candidates need to qualify this paper in order to get eligibility for the teaching positions from Class VI to VIII in AP Upper Primary Schools.

Candidates who aspire for teaching positions right from primary level to upper primary level i.e. from Class I to VIII MUST pass both the papers.
