Physical Efficiency Test

For Male Candidates

  1. MUST cover a distance of 1500 metres in 8 minutes
  2. MUST perform a high jump of 120 centimetres in 3 attempts
  3. MUST perform a long jump of 13 Feet in 3 attempts
  4. MUST cover 100 metres in 16 seconds
  5. MUST perform chin-ups 6 times

For Constable

For Male Candidates

  1. MUST perform chin-ups 4 times
  2. MUST cover a distance of 100 metres in 18 seconds
  3. MUST cover a distance of 1500 metres in 8 minutes
  4. MUST perform a high jump of 115 centimetres in 3 attempts
  5. MUST perform a long jump of 12 Feet in 3 attempts

For Female Candidates

  1. MUST cover a distance of 800 Meters in 5 minutes
  2. MUST perform a high jump of 90 cms in 3 attempts
  3. MUST perform a long jump of 9 Feet in 3 attempts
  4. MUST cover a distance of 100 metres in 19 seconds

Relaxations

For Constable

  • Minimum educational qualification will be 8th pass.
  • Upper age limit will be 33 years.

For Sub-inspector

The Upper age limit is 30 years.

Application Procedure

  • Visit and log on to the official website www.arunpol.nic.in.
  • Click on the Notifications bar and download the application form.
  • Fill the Application Form and submit the same along with the attested copies of all the credentials pertaining to the educational qualification, address, caste, age etc. by hand or by post.

Selection Procedure

For Sub-inspector

Recruitment is done in four stages and the candidates are required to pass all the four to qualify for the applied position. Following are the stages of the selection process:

Physical Standard Test

The candidates should meet minimum physical standards prescribed in the notification.

Physical Efficiency Test

Candidates will be filtered by assessing the physical fitness through long race and push-ups.

Written Examination

The written examination is an objective type question paper which consists of 3 papers with 100 Marks each.

Interview (40 Marks)

The interview will carry a maximum of 40 marks.

  2. Shot put (4kg)
