Introduction
The State of Arunachal Pradesh (AP) consists of mountainous ranges sloping to the plains of Assam. Then climatic conditions of the region and the topographical diversity has contributed to the healthy nourishment of the forests in the State. As a result, a number of plant species and a variety of animals can be found in the forests of AP, adding an aesthetic value to the entire landscape of the region. The State of Arunachal Pradesh comprises eight wildlife sanctuaries, one Orchid Sanctuary and two National Parks, all of which cover an area of 9,488.48 sq km. Almost all the residential areas in the state are away from the forests which has strengthened the protection of such forests.

Relaxations
- For APST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years.
- For APST-A.P. Government Servants, the upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.
- For General candidates who are already in Government Service serving under the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.

Physical Efficiency Test
Candidates shortlisted in the written exam must pass a Physical Efficiency Test covering the below mentioned distance in 4 hours on foot and a Medical Examination conducted by a Medical Board.

Application Procedure
- Application form can be collected from the Commission’s office, which is located at Itanagar.
Below mentioned documents must accompany the duly filled-up Application Form:
- Two self-attested copies of recent colour passport size photograph.
- Attested copies of all the credentials and marks sheets issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice-Chancellor of a recognised University as evidence of educational qualification.
- Attested copy of the Matriculation certificate as age proof issued by the Board/University.
- Attested copy of the APST certificate.
- In case of General Candidates, attested copy of the PRC.
Selection Procedure
Physical Standard Test
Candidates must have physical standards set by the recruitment board.
Physical Efficiency Test
The department conducts various events to test the physical fitness of the candidates.
Written test
A written test will be conducted to test the general awareness of the candidate.
Interview
Candidates who qualify the written test will have to appear in the interview. The maximum marks for the same will be 75.

Interview
