The AP Postal GDS Merit List 2019 consists of the names and registration numbers of the selected candidates. The selection of the applicants will be done on the basis of the merit list prepared by the officials after considering the candidate’s marks obtained in the 10th class.

General conditions for preparing the AP Postal GDS Merit List 2019

• Selection for GDS posts will be done as per the automatically generated merit list on the basis of online submitted applications of the candidates
• No weightage is given for the higher educational qualification
• Only marks obtained in 10th class from the recognized boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals is the criteria for the final selection of the candidates
• Passing all the subjects as per the board norms is mandatory
• If applicants marks list is having both marks and grades, then they have to apply with marks only
• In case, the marks lists consisting the grades or points, marks will be calculated by taking the conversion of grades and points with the multiplication factor i.e, 9.5 against the maximum points or grade as 100
• In case, multiple applicants get  the same marks, the merit list will be prepared by placing the candidates with earlier DOB in first
• The DOB merit order is as follows:
• ST female
• SC female
• OBC female
• EWS female
• UR female
• ST Male
• SC Male
• OBC male
• EWS male
• UR male
• Every candidate can apply for a maximum of twenty posts as per the cycle of online engagement that means a candidate can apply for twenty posts on a single application spread across one or all circles
• If an applicant opts for five posts with preference post 1, post 2, post 3, post 4, post 5, etc and gets selected for more than one post, the post in the order of preference will be given and the candidature for all the remaining posts will be canceled

• On the web page, find the “Results Released” section
• Find the “Andhra Pradesh (2707 posts)” tab
• Click on that link
• Your AP Postal GDS Merit List/ Selected candidates list 2019 will appear on the desktop
• Search for your name, registration number in the merit list
• Download the Andhra Pradesh Postal GDS Merit List 2019 and keep it safe for future reference

Furnishing of Security

Candidates who are selected for GDS posts are required to furnish the security amount of Rs. 25000/- in the case of GDS Branch Postmaster and other approved categories of GDS such as ABPM and Dak Sevak is Rs. 10,000 respectively.
