About Anna University

Anna University was started in the year 1978 on 04th September .  It was named after former chief minister Dr. C. N. Annadurai of Tamilnadu. It is offering the best courses in Architecture, Engineering, technology. The Institute is a combination of different Institutes, like School of Architecture & planning, madras institute of technology, Alagappa College of technology, college of engineering. It was located near the southern part of Chennai. The Institute was established in a wide area of 52 Acres. Anna Institute offers a total of 90 PG courses, 29 UG courses. In affiliated colleges, it offers 41 UG and 57 PG courses. Every year thousands of students graduate from this college.
