AFCAT Eligibility Conditions

  • Age Limit
      • For Flying Branch Posts: 20 to 24 years
      • For Ground Duty (Technical and Non – Technical) Branches Posts: 20 to 26 years
  • Educational Qualification
      • For Technical Branch Posts: Aspirants should have passed a four years degree program in engineering or its equivalent, for the specific qualification you can refer to the official notification below.
      • Flying Branch Posts: Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in their aggregate and should have passed 10+2 (Mathematics and Physics) level; alternatively candidates should have BE/ B.Tech degree (with at least 60% marks).
  • Physical Fitness Test
    • Aspirants will be required to complete 1.6 km run in a stipulated time frame of 9 Minutes, 100 Meters run in 16 seconds
    • Furthermore, you will be required to complete 20 Pushups and Sit-ups in 1 minute
    • Also, you must be able to do three chin-ups
    • You must be able to swim 25 meters

AFCAT Class I Exam Pattern 2020

AFCAT Exam 2020 is usually conducted in 2 stages, namely Online exam and SSB Interview conducted by the Indian Air Force Selection Board.
